dueling cyclones jackknife

dress: thrift -- vest: thrift -- boots: thrift -- sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Yesterday my mom came to class with me! It was all kinds of fun. First, she treated me to a delicious lunch and afterwards we enjoyed a fantastic lecture. I realized that my mom's never actually seen me "in action" in class, so it was really cool to share that part of myself with her. School is my number one obsession in life, you see, and it means a lot to me for her to see me in my element

Thanks for taking these photos, Mom!

Feeling quiet today. What are your plans for the weekend?

Today's title comes from Destroyer -- "Rubies."

It was a great day, Sophe. And you're right, I'd never seen you in your academic element before. So strange! But you were you, and I wasn't surprised or shocked. Danged smart girl!

Okay, so I love this floral dress, and the denim vest A LOT. And the fact that you wore it all with cowboy boots, you're frickin cute.
I love that your mum came to school with you!

It's so sunny nice there! It's super dull and overcast where I'm at. Since they're everywhere, I always love seeing how different people style florals. You look nice and laid back :) and happy. very happy. Which is what matters, of course. hehe.

Wow you look so gorgeous, especially in the first picture! My mum would have been completely lost if she'd come to uni with me hehe :) xo

I cannot get over how great your hair looks, lady! Did your mama like school? My mother hated having to go back to school and even quit parent teacher conferences when I was in like third grade, ahah.
